The purpose of tbabs-or is to provide the on-line users of Talking Book and Braille Services, and other interested persons, with up-to-date information about Talking Book and Braille Services. TBABS-OR also provides a forum for Talking Book and Braille Service patrons to communicate with one another on Talking Book and Braille Service topics and Internet accessibility issues.

The following describes 2 methods for individuals to subscribe to tbabs-or:

1. Go to http://webhost.osl.state.or.us/mailman/listinfo/tbabs-or. Enter your email address and submit.
   
   
2. Send a message to tbabs-or-request@webhost.osl.state.or.us. Include the word 'subscribe' in the subject or message field.

The following describes 2 methods for individuals to unsubscribe to tbabs-or:

1. Go to http://webhost.osl.state.or.us/mailman/listinfo/tbabs-or . At the bottom of the page, in the tbabs-or Subscribers section, enter your email address and click on 'Edit Options'. On the resulting page, enter your password and click 'Unsubscribe'. If you have forgotten your password, there is an option for getting a reminder.
   
   
2. Send a message to tbabs-or-request@webhost.osl.state.or.us Message: unsubscribe <password> [email address] Do not include the brackets. Note that your password is REQUIRED to unsubscribe, but an email address is only needed if you are trying to unsubscribe from a different address than the one you subscribed from.

You will receive a monthly reminder of your password. Using your password, you can change your account options, such as receiving the list in Digest form, going "No Mail" for vacation periods, changing your password, etc. You can also request your password by going to:
